180th Birthday!

My penguin, Tango 190, is 180 days old! I couldn’t do a party, because no-one will come. .  Oh, well.

If people come on my site, I will have a party! I won’t record because I don’t have a recorder! Sorry!

New catalog and fireworks!

Hello Penguins!

Thanks for all your awesome comments about the sneak peek!  We love hearing from you!! 

Are you enjoying the fireworks?  They’re in celebration of national holidays around the world!!  Grab some of your buddies and check them out. You can see them from the top of the Ski Hill and the Iceberg. They just started yesterday and will be around until the weekend.

In other news:  Some of you might know about a special project that’s been going on behind the scenes called the Club Penguin Improvement Project (CPIP).  It’s a place where many of you have helped out with some new features.  If you haven’t been there before, go to www.clubpenguin.com/cpip.  I posted a few new things on the CPIP blog last week, so check it out when you can and let us know what you think!

Hello Penguins!

Last week, Club Penguin was a super busy place with Rockhopper’s return, and I know a lot of you are still working hard to solve the Mysterious Tremors mission.  But things are never dull around here and on Friday a new clothing catalog will be released!

 

 

I can’t show you everything, but here’s a sneak peek of one of the new outfits. What do you think? A lot of the new items in the catalog will be really handy at the upcoming July party–I’ll have more about that at the end of the week.

CPIP News!

Hello Penguins!

Finding buddies faster than you can right now is really important. So the idea behind the new login feature is to help you find the servers where your buddies are quickly. 

Here’s the new login design. Beneath it is the the current login you’re familiar with.

The new login shows you the servers you and your friends visit most frequently.  In the current system you have to choose a country and then choose from a long list of servers that you may or may not visit. 

For those of you who really like to see the entire list of servers, you’ll definitely be able to do that too. But the default view will be grouped by servers you visit most with your friends–wherever you’re from. 

As always let us know what you think and what else you’d like to see with a login feature.

Hello Penguins!

I know it’s been a little while since I’ve shared updates about the Club Penguin Improvement Project, but that doesn’t mean the work has slowed down. 

Since my last post, the team has been working hard on squashing bugs and making changes based on all of your comments–I’ll fill you in on those details next week. In the process they decided to make an entirely NEW feature that we hadn’t planned on! I’m really excited to be sharing it with you because it’s something many of you have suggested in the past. And we all thought it made a lot of sense. 

We’ve made a few changes to make your igloos look better than ever! Check this out:

Old friend Rockhopper here!

Hello Penguins!

Our old friend Captain Rockhopper arrived today and from what I’ve heard, he’s having a lot of fun hanging out with everyone.  If you see him, say “hi” to him for me and please help your friends find him if they’re having a hard time.  For those of you who are wondering, Rockhopper is a very real penguin who loves to chat so be sure to look for him.

In other news: The arrival of Rockhopper’s ship also means the new multiplayer game is also back.  You can find it in the captains quarters of his ship below deck.

New mission today!

Hello Penguins!

The new mission–Mysterious Tremors–launched today! The team worked really hard to get it ready and had received a lot of great inspiration from many of you since the release of the last mission! So thanks for your great feedback!

If you’re a Secret Agent be sure to check in at the HQ to get your new assignment as soon as you can. I don’t want to give it all away, but I will tell you this mission is connected to the last mission, Clockwork Repairs. 

There are a couple new areas you’ll be able to explore and of course lots of puzzles to solve and highly confidential PSA information to handle!

New furniture and strange event in town

Hello Penguins!

If you haven’t checked out the Town Center yet make sure you do! Something strange is going on! I’m sure we’ll find out more when the next newspaper comes out on Thursday, but until then, we’d love to hear what you think might be happening.. Also, if you have your construction helmets you can always have fun helping others to fix it!

In other news: a new furniture catalog was released today with some great items for the summer. It’s full of stuff you need to turn your igloo into the perfect beach party! As always we would love to hear what your favorite new item is.

Rockhopper and new mission coming

Hello Penguins!

There’s going to be a lot going on in Club Penguin over the next couple of weeks that we haven’t talked about–so I thought I would give you a quick head’s up! 

The team is nearly finished the new secret agent mission–and believe me you don’t want to miss its release early next week! I can’t say a lot more about it, and there will be more info coming to agents very soon. 

If you haven’t completed the last mission, be sure you do before the new mission comes out. If you’re not a secret agent but you’re at least 30 days old, click the M on the top right corner of your screen and apply to become one.

I also just heard that Rockhopper is coming back!! You can’t see his ship anywhere on the horizon right now, but the team is getting things ready for his return. He will arrive at the end of the month!

Water Party!

It is now the Water Party! There are three items. The Yellow Inflatable Duck is at the Cove, the Shell necklace is at the Beach and the Ice Cream Apron is at the Plaza. There is also a new play! Its called The Time That Penguins Forgot.

I hope you’re all enjoying the Water Party so far! It was a lot of fun to take the best parts of some of the past parties and add some of your great ideas to make this one even better!

Its such a blast! And theres a new mission… again!

Hello Penguins!

I had hoped to post earlier this week, but things have been really busy around here getting ready for the upcoming mission release.  Many of you have been wondering when the next one will be ready and I’m really excited to tell you to expect it near the end of June. For all of you who have played mission 7 you’ll know there’s lots to look forward to in  the next one! If you haven’t played the latest mission, make sure you get caught up so you’re ready when the next one comes out!

 

From what I’ve seen so far, I’m really excited about it but would love to hear what you think. Here’s a sneak peek of some work the team has already done.

New Item!!

Hiya, the new item has come out! Its a red hard hat and when you dance you have a red drill! You only get this if you participated at the bug test thing. I did and I got it. It will be added to your inventory when you log on so don’t worry! I was on CP and I was wearing the hat and everyone was like, ” WHERE DID YOU GET THAT HAT!?! PLEASE TELL ME!” And I said, ” you get it in your inventory!” Hehehehe. Thanks!
